DESCRIPTION:The Queens Economic Development Corporation (QEDC)’s 10-week business training course is coming to an end and we are celebrating the student’s achievements by hosting a virtual event on the last day of class. Come celebrate with us by attending this virtual event and supporting these entrepreneurs’ growth. In these 10 weeks\, these students have tested their product ideas with real customers and launched a holiday special/ offer that they can promote and take pre-orders and orders for. \nDuring this one-hour special\, you will hear all about our founders and their journeys within the class –  how did their idea develop\, what strategies did they test\, and what ups and downs did they experience in this process. You will learn about what motivated them to complete the course while balancing a job\, a family\, homeschooling children during quarantine. \nThe students are divided into three panels based on their industry – Service (construction/ consulting/ transportation)\, food (manufacturing\, catering\, personal chef)\, and innovative product (patented device\, retail goods and online scavenger hunt). Each panel has their own unique experience based on industry challenges.
